The current food crisis in the world calls attention to the need for construction of sustainable ecosystems more generally and more advanced farming methods in particular are a solution. Contrary to the conventional wisdom that industrial agriculture is needed to produce enough food to feed the world, Matrix farm evidently suggests that peasant and small-scale family farm operations adopting agroecological methods can be as (or more) productive than industrial agriculture.
